Where Warriors Regain Strength - Issue 1

Welcome back to Wisdom for the Worshiping Warrior.

Last week we entered the fight.
This week, we regroup at the source.
Victory isn’t about output, it’s about connection.
You won’t bear fruit unless you’re first rooted in Christ.

Too many Christians try to fix their lives without first fixing their eyes on Jesus.
Before you chase progress, success, healing, or purpose start with J3:

Jesus. Joy. Journey.

That’s the order. And the enemy wants to distract you from the first one.

The Word

Before you move, make sure you’re connected to the source.

“I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
John 15:5 (NASB)

The Warfare

The enemy can’t cut the vine, so he’ll distract the branch.

It won’t start with sin. It’ll start with busyness.
Less time in the Word. Less prayer. Less connection to Christ.

Apart from the Vine, you don’t grow. You dry out.
You may stay busy, but you won’t bear fruit.
You may stay active, but Joy will wither.
And if you’re constantly feeling cut back, maybe it’s not attack.

Maybe it’s divine pruning.

The Wisdom

You don’t need a better plan. You need deeper roots.

Where are you trying to grow fruit without staying rooted in the Vine?

Here are the steps every worshiping warrior must take:

  • Return to Jesus – Start your morning rooted in Word and prayer. No connection, no strength.

  • Pursue Joy with gratitude – Let the Spirit refresh you as you thank Jesus for everything provided through the Vine.

  • Prune your Journey – Cut distractions that drain you. Walk lighter. Walk closer to the Vine.

Marching Orders

Reply to this email with one thing you need to prune to stay more connected to Jesus.
I’ll be praying over every response this week.

Closing Charge

This is your next step in the fight.
Check your roots. Cut what’s dead.
Stay connected to the Vine.

The Journey depends on it.
